Well, the visit day in Rome was overwhelming as we drove passed the Colosseum, in person, and there are few words to descripe the breath of this stadium!  Plus the ancient wall of Rome.  Seeing these monuments in person was , to me, like visiting the Lincoln Memorial as it took my breath after and brought tears to my eyes.

Drove by too quickly for photos will try again tomorrow.  Marco , our driver, was a whiz driver and did whizz on by but explained and pt out some historical sites , like the seven hills of Rome and he could name them also.

Went to eat at a torttoria right next door like a side walk cafe.  Had soup and caprese salad, vine for me, geletto for Bruce.  Sat there for awhile until I saw Bruce was falling asleep at the table, walked a bit and back to the room just as a thunder and lighting stop hit but not much rain as it lessens as it comes closer to the ground.

It has been in the 80s here for the passed week and today was humid.

Ok,
Good night folks.
